In addition to pure slicing capabilities, PrismSlicer offers unique “Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM)” features which allow users to expressively model material gradients over their parts. This is not limited to surface-based gradients as you can achieve with textures, but provides full volumetric (3D) control over the deposition of one material or another. This Gradient Editor is build into the interactive viewport and can be intuitively controled with gizmos. After a quick slicing, the resulting material transitions can be inspected layer-by-layer in the Slice Viewer.
