Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Which SLA printers are currently compatible?
You can export slices for Prusa SL1(S) printers (.sl1) directly out of PrismSlicer SLA. With the help of UVTools it is possible to convert these slices to your printer’s format.
How can I generate support structures in PrismSlicer SLA?
At this moment, PrismSlicer SLA does not have the ability to generate support structures for SLA printing. You can work around this limitation by exporting your model including supports from other modeling or slicing software. Some models on the internet also come already pre-supported.
What purpose does this free demo follow?
We are excited to share our newest developments as soon as possible with the maker community and decided for making a demo version available for everyone for free. With this version we hope to gather feedback on our features, rule out any technical problems and learn about what the users would like to see us working on next.
We would like to connect with like-minded 3D printing enthusiasts who share the passion for colors.
What are the limitations of the PrismSlicer SLA demo version?
The demo version can be installed on any computer for an infinite period of time. It is limited in its functionality though, which can be unlocked by purchasing a full license from our online shop.
Currently, the demo version has watermarks in the photorealistic preview images that clearly display their intention for demonstration purposes only.
